Position Summary:
This position will primarily be responsible for administrative support of the EHS department. Assist with scanning/filing of EHS records into the record keeping systems. This position will assist with working with area Subject Matter Experts as necessary to develop printed materials, signage and/or research issues surrounding consistency of printed materials and signage around the facility. This position shall work in the company EHS database system. Maintains database by identifying and solving database requirements and organisational issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work with area supervisors to create/edit/update area-specific safety signage to accurately area requirements.
• Organise/scan documents into company EHS databases.
• Administer EHS databases by ensuring documents are accurately created, well organised and maintained. Update and compile information in EHS database systems.
• Create reports as needed to accurately show status of safety-related assignments and responsibilities.
• Create material for new training programs; reviews, evaluates and modifies existing and proposed programs; recommends appropriate changes.
• Prepares and distributes site emergency response aids such as instructional material, handouts, maps and visual aids.
• Act as a resource to investigate and resolve signage and documentation issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
